Our buttons are handmade, crafted from 100% recycled plastic that we collect from businesses and individuals around our hometown of Akron, OH.
OUR PROCESS:
At Tansy Recycling, we collect plastic from Akron-local businesses and residents, shred it up, sort it into colors, and then melt it in our small injection molder! Once popped out of the mold, we clean up any rough edges so you get a nice smooth finish. The colors we get are always changing and beautifully marbled--- every product is a unique work of art!
